Review by Jeremias de Leon
This issue has things that were boiling from before finally explode and we start to see resolutions. Mysteries are revealed, and there’s actually a nice bit of action too.
The characters both human and alien have a lot of nuance to them and it gets shown quite well in this issue.
Considering the focus is on the characters, all of them look unique and easily identifiable. The big action climax also looks well done. Everything in all is designed pretty well, including the panel layouts.
It definitely felt that this story was worth sticking with, even if the last issue felt a little slow. Seeing the results of all the plans of the multiple sides of humans and aliens, and the explosion of emotions as well made this pretty fun. Blue Hour # 5 gets an 8.5 out of 10.
