The aftermath of Armor Hunters # 4 starts with X-O Manowar # 29. Just what kind of threat can Aric run into now after facing some of the most dangerous foes in the entire universe?

Review by Jeremias de Leon
Picking up immediately after Armor Hunters # 4 Aric of Dacia finds himself looking to clean up loose ends after the catastrophic battle for the planet and his armor.
This issue sees some good character development for Aric and the colonel who at this point, after going through what they went through, now trust each other. There’s also good action scenes and a nice tease for the next story arc at the end of the issue.
Diego Bernard’s lines are nothing short of spectacular and the color work add life and personality to his art. The action scenes are really stylistically well thought out and the atmosphere throughout the comic thanks to the art give this consistent vibe of a new battle approaching and recouping after fighting a major previous one.
After reading Armor Hunters # 4 (which should be done since this is immediately after) this issue gives a great sense of what the aftermath is after the battle. It also makes X-O Manowar, by the end of this issue, be truly recognized as a hero. It has fantastic art that’s really awe inspiring at certain moments and a very tightly written narrative. I don’t really have any complaints here I give X-O Manowar # 29 a 5 out of 5
