Picking up right where the previous issue left off the battle still rages between Orla and Lila. Orla seems to be tough for Lila and there seems to be no way she can win, but can she think of a plan?
In between the action and at the end of the issue there’s some character development, making the events all the more meaningful in this issue. It’s pretty well thought out as well, the dialogue during these moments don’t seem over the top or hokey.
The art is lovely and during the action segments awesomely stylized. It really does seem to get better and better. Of note, is how certain panels almost look like they’re from an animation. The page layouts are designed very well and help the art look like it’s framed perfectly.
Dollface has been killing it when it comes to action and this issue just raised the bar higher. The characters also are developing nicely and it really seems like they are growing or changing.
The panels almost seem animated, they are oozing with style and the story seems like there’s so much more to see that you just have to keep reading. Dollface # 6 gets a 9 out of 10.
