Katie becomes more one with the Vampblades from her previous fight at Drumpf Tower. Since this she’s been acting much more strangely.
This issue shows a lot of action and little moments of sexiness. The story however is mostly just focused on the sense of unease and stress Katie feels from being more merged with the Vampblades.
The best thing in this issue. Katie looks fantastic in pretty much every panel and the action scenes are high energy and brutal.
This issue has some awesome visuals, and it does explain the internal struggle Katie has now with her blades taking her over. It feels like it didn’t have much to say though on the subject. Almost like you could skip this one, though it does have some good info for new readers and an ending that lets you know the stakes are only going to get raised. All in all not a bad issue but it didn’t meet expectations. Vamp blade gets a 7 out of 10.
